If you would like to do some photographic work with me, then there are several options:

1. I pay you to model for me: (Note, I will only pay models when I have a commission to fulfill)

• I will contact you for your rates and availability if your work, levels and looks suit my needs for a particular shoot.
• For this work the rates would be set by you, but I expect them to be realistic, negotiable and based on your experience and the style of photography undertaken.
• Studio hire costs would be borne by me
  

2. You get paid by receiving the images in high resolution digital images on CD or DVD: TFCD

• You can have significant input into the session and you will be able to use the images for your personal use such as your portfolio as per usual TFCD agreements.   The more input you can give beforehand, the more succcessful, the shoot will be.
  
• I will produce a CD for you of all the images from the shoot, in High-Resolution format.  From this I will ask you to choose 5 images, which I will process professionally for you. I will supply these to you on a further CD, bothin full format - for commercial use, and in Web format - for use on web pages and web based portfolios.
• I will also provide you with 2 A4 prints of any of your chosen images
  
• The costs for the hire of a studio would be shared 50:50.  My home based studio would be available for use - free of charge
• As per UK copyright law, I own the copyright and you will be required to sign a model release

3. You pay me to photograph you:

• If the images are for your personal non-commercial use, then as per UK copyright law, you will own the copyright and the images will not be published by me, and obviously you will not be required to sign a model release.
• If I have time available, my rates are currently a flat £50 for a 2-3 hour session with the images provided to you on CD or DVD.   If a studio is required the costs would be borne by the model.
• This is a bargain given that it usually takes time to setup and to clear away my equipment, in addition to the shoot time.
• I have a small home based studio, which will be available for use - £20 per session
  
• The photos also take considerable time to process, this is included in the overall cost.

4. Test shoot only:

• No one gets paid, and the shoot is only to assess the suitability of a model for a subsequent paid session. The photos are not published by either party unless an agreement is arrived after the shoot.
• Generally my home studio would suffice for this use, however I am willing to shoot at you home, providing it is not too far away.
  
• I do not often do these, but it may be suitable particularly for persons who have not modelled before but think they would like to try it.

Note that I usually do not provide makeup or hair styling services, but other than for portraiture, I can usually get away without these. No model will be expected to do anything they are not comfortable with. You must be over 18 yrs AND regard yourself as being sufficiently mature to be comfortable with the type of shoot you wish to participate in. I am often happy to explore your own ideas.
The other main criteria that I insist upon is good communication - it is critical both parties understand when and where to meet and if there are any alterations, let me know early.

I have a portable set of studio lights and backgrounds and am willing to travel reasonable distances for shoots.   This can save on studio costs if you would prefer to shoot from your home location

Although I do photography as a hobby to allow me to explore my creative side and give me new challenges, I approach the sessions as professionally as I can and try to ensure that they are as relaxed as possible, whilst aiming for high quality, aesthetic results.

Photos from photo sessions in categories 1 and 2 above will primarily be used for my portfolios and for my personal development as a photographer but may also be used in exhibitions, limited edition fine art prints, etc. These photos are designed and photographed as art forms, they will not be licensed for use by the adult entertainment industry.

I don't spend my time cold canvassing people on the off chance they might be interested in modelling.
Thus if you are interested in modelling for me or wanting private photos for yourself, you will need to let me know that you are interested.
The great thing about modelling is that you do not need to have commercial beauty as shown in the magazines nor do you need a tan, expensive make up or hair styling. It is up to me to try to ensure that the style selected, pose, lighting and use of props shows off your best features while disguising those that may not be so flattering.
Minor skin blemishes such as pimples are cloned out, while in many cases, even skin tones, glamour style finishes and other artistic effects can be applied in the post production work with Photoshop
